Pictured: Misima hosts some 3.2 moz gold in resources

In the upcoming July edition of Australia’s Paydirt, Kingston Resources Ltd managing director Andrew Corbett explains exactly what acquiring full ownership of the Misima project in PNG might mean for the company.

“It has taken us two years to get from 49% to 100%, so we have ticked a few boxes and we’ll just have to wait and see,” Corbett said.

Corbett was commenting on a question asked about Kingston being a potential takeover target, given the size of project Misima is shaping up to be.

Misima hosts a resource of 3.2 moz gold already, with 1.5 moz in the indicated category.

Misima is of course a former Placer asset, which produced at a rate of 230,000 ozpa gold over 15 years.
