It’s been a big few months for developers looking to revive historical West Australian gold assets. Minerals 260 raised $420 million for its 6.2 moz Bullabulling gold project near Coolgardie via a two-tranche placement and a second investment from streaming company Franco-Nevada. Meanwhile, Wiluna Mining has dragged itself out of administration and back towards the bourse with a $180 million IPO package to restart the troubled namesake mine. Michael Washbourne investigates both projects.
